2 more days until we leave for GS. Now is when I start getting really excited. I have my lists made, I have 95% of the laundry done, we have the dogs schedule taken care of, I'm almost done. I know that Bryan gets tired of me asking all the time if he knows what he's taking, if he knows what we're going to drive, if he know's what route we are taking but that's just me. I'm a list making, pack ahead of time, know everything about where we're going, get it over with and done kind of person. I would rather be packed a week before if I could. Drives him crazy though. I always have this fear of going some where, getting there and realizing I have forgotten something important that I can't replace while I'm gone like my glasses or my meds. So therefore I make a list, I pack with my list checking off everything on my list as I go and then when we repack to come home I get my list out and pack with it again and check off as I go again. It works well for me. Thankfully when we return from our vacation I won't be quite as particular with my list and packing. As long as I can get it all back into the bag it came in we're good.
SO 2 more long days and then we are off TO THE BEACH! YEAH!!!

The last 2 days...

Yesterday was a strange day. I was at work, minding my own business doing what I was supposed to be doing and called my parents who had been on the road since Monday with business to see where they were. I knew they were on their way home but didn't know where they were or when they were actually gonna get here. This was about 10am. Mom said they were in Siekston Missouri which is pretty far from where I THOUGHT they had spent the night in Paducah Kentucky. Mom said they were headed in as fast as they could so they could get the yard mowed before the rain set in for the next 3 days. Made sense to me, they have done that before. SO... about 1:30 I hear someone come in the door at work and down the hall towards my office. It sounded like a little kid walking down the hall but then there was my Dad followed by a big SURPRISE being yelled at me by my 3 and a half year old niece (who was supposed to be in Michigan!) My Sister met them half way and handed her off so she could stay the week with them and then ride to the beach with them next week. I was SHOCKED. I knew my Mom wanted to bring her home with them but she couldn't really figure out how to make it work. Tuesday this week Bryan and I went and bought a web cam so we could finally talk to Ali while she's in Michigan. I saw her Tuesday night on the computer in her bedroom and then Thursday afternoon HERE SHE IS! Oh I was so happy to see her. I hadn't seen her in 2 months and missed her terribly. Now I really can't wait until we go to the beach. I got to spend most of the day with Boo today and we talked about EVERYTHING we are going to do while we are at the beach. We are going to make sand castles, go eat at Lulu's, pick up sea shells for Nana, have a movie night, have a birthday party, eat popcorn, sleep late, and play in the water. She's 3 and already she takes after me with planning lol. 6 Days. Only 6 more days and we are headed to Gulf Shores. Wooo Hooo.

To the BEACH!!!
Off to the beach!

home away from home ~ PARADOX
MMM Lulu's Cheeseburger in Paradise!

Last year we spent 2 nights in Gulf Shores before having to evacuate for hurricane Gustav. It sucked, but at least we got to go at all. So this year we're trying it again and EVERYONE is going, even Ed who doesn't really like the beach but I'm glad he's going. I don't get to see him much with them in MI and him working a lot, even when we're there we don't get to see him much. Boo is of course looking forward to "the beach, the beach, THE BEACH" she's so funny and will provide us countless hours of entertainment while we're down there. Thankfully she's the only kid going so she gets to be the center of every one's attention which can and will be a struggle for some but it will all work out. I'm excited to see everyone and of course I'm excited to see the sand that I love so much! How soon can I officially start the count down? Ok today sounds good 8 more days!

So now that some of the craziness has settled around weddings and going to Hot Springs and here and there for a little while, we're hitting the road May 29th to head to the BEACH! Yeah!!!

Crazy Times

So most anyone knows that I have some pretty wicked migranes, like stay in bed all day (which is just not me, I at least get up and go lay on the couch and watch tv) don't eat anything don't really talk to anyone just lay there in the dark. In the last two months I have had one of the worst ones ever in April and then another pretty bad one in May. My WONDERFUL husband has taken such great care of me. There's about 3 days in April around Easter that I just have no memory of at all, and ER visit, a couple DR office visits, shots, I don't remember any of it. He's so great. He takes care of me without even as much as a single word of complaint. He is the love of my life and I am so luck to have him. I hope he know's that.
The Hallerberg Family

May 9, 2009 Bryan and I were invited to Chris and Nina's wedding. Their wedding was probably one of the sweetest, most romantic, intimate weddings I have ever been to. I got to hang out with Nina all day getting her hair, nails, makeup done and getting dressed. It was a crazy busy day but it was a great day. It rained all day but it didn't really seem to dampen Nina's spirits any, she was so happy and calm all day. I must say I was VERY impressed. I wasn't nearly that calm! She was such a beautiful bride too. Almost made me cry. Chris loves that girl so much too, he's such a great match for her. He carried her all the way down the stairs from where they got married to the horse and carriage waiting for them on the street. So sweet!
Nina and Chris ~ I hope you find all the happiness you two have been looking for. Thank you for letting us be a part of your big day. It's definatly one we will never forget!
The Ellsworth Family
On April 25, 2009 I got a new Brother-in-Law. He's a good guy that Bryan has known for years (it has something to do with "No Pickles") But it was a lot of fun. Bryan's Grandfather (Popo) was in from Florida with his Aunts Josie and Cheryl. It was a blast. We made tons of tulle bows the night before and got to hang out with everyone at their reception after the wedding. It was really a lot of fun.
Deytrah and Kevin we wish you two all the happiness in the world and the best of luck.
Long Time
Ok I'm a slacker. I know this and now you know this too. We have been so busy lately that I just haven't had time to get updated on here but I "will try" to do better.
